Nothing brings people together like good food.

Nyonya kuihs, Nasi lemak and Asam Beehoon packets available at the
counter at the entrance of the restaurant.

Lovely!

Beautiful wall art!

They really put a lot of efforts into decoration of the restaurant.

Let's see what to eat in Baba Nyonya!

CHICKEN LOBAK

Lobak = Five-Spice Meat Rolls

Delicious chicken rolls wrapped in beancurd sheets.
It has a crunchy exterior with a soft and chewy filling
They are sliced into bite size before serving alongside some
 cut cucumber slices and sauces.
Perfect for sharing.

Priced at RM16.90

FLYING FISH

Butterfly-cut deep fried Siakap fish topped with
 house signature tangy spicy sambal.
The onion slices, red chili and coriander leaves make it even more appealing.
You need more rice for this.
Meant to be shared among 4-5 pax.
They have it in half also in case you can't finish the whole fish.

Priced at RM65.90

SAMBAL PETAI PRAWN

 Petai fans?
Petai cooked with Sambal prawn, you definitely try this before!
Spicy but addictive.
It’s really appetizing and the prawn are simply delicious.
More rice please.

Priced at RM32.90

NASI LEMAK WITH
AYAM GORENG REMPAH

Ayam Goreng Berempah = Malaysian style Crispy Spiced Fried Chicken

All time Malaysian favourite dish and is extremely delectable.
Crunchy and juicy!
The fried chicken has a light crispy crust,
bursting with the aromatic flavours of fresh herbs and spices in it.
Perfect combination with Nasi Lemak, so fulfilling.

Priced at RM21.90

INCHI KABIN

Inchi Kabin
=> Nyonya version of Deep-fried chicken.

Finger-licking good bite-sized pieces of deep fried battered chicken.
Main difference of Inchi Kabin compared to other fried chicken is
that the chicken is usually twice-fried, so they are extremely crispy.
Much more aromatic and has a sweet aftertaste.

Priced at RM25.90

SALTED EGG SOTONG + BRINJAL

Crispy and salty squid rings all enveloped in sinful salted egg-yolks,
 garnished with fiery chilli padi
and fragrant curry leaves.
Crunchy and absolutely mouth-watering!

CURRY MEE

One of the most popular hawker street food
 that Malaysians absolutely adore.
Not overly rich, yet flavourful enough from the spices used.
The soup is thick with a hint of sweetness.
Toppings include chicken slice, fried tofu and bean sprouts.

Priced at RM16.90

FRIED BELACAN CHICKEN WINGS

 A fan of Belacan?
Belacan is a dried fermented shrimp paste, very popular in Malaysian cuisine.
I've actually never eaten belacan fried chicken before
but they turned out tender and crispy after deep-frying,
tastes sweet and has the aroma of the belacan.
 Simple yet flavoursome.

Priced at RM12.90

NYONYA CHAP CHYE

Chap Chye = Mixed Vegetable Stew

Nyonya version mixed vegetables stew tossed with glass noodles.
A traditional Nyonya dish enjoyed by Peranakans and non-Peranakans alike.
A dish that is well-loved by both the young and old.
Simple and Flavourful!

What's for desserts?
Complete your dining experience with:

BANANA FRITTERS

One of their signature dessert.
Golden and crispy outer layer, creamy some banana.
You can't miss this!
Served with a dark soya sauce dip with cut chilies and a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
I find it quite unique but nice combination to dip
the fried bananas in the dark soya sauce with cut chili,
Try it out, it somehow work well together.
