Hair Quarters Malaysia Pavilion Elite x Redken Malaysia : My FULL HAIR Transformation with Redken pH-Bonder

Hello Dearies
What's your dream hair colour?

Current in Trend hair colour looks nice only with bleaching.
 -_-
You can't get those effect without bleaching.
If you want to dye it in a lighter colour, you absolutely need to bleach your hair.

So,
What is Bleaching?

Essentially
a process of lightening the color of your hair.
To remove the natural pigment in your hair
the bleach must fully penetrate the hair shaft.
As the bleaching solution comes into contact with the hair shaft
it causes the hair to enlarge, triggering a separation in the cuticle scales that make up your hair. Though this is necessary for the dye to penetrate the hair,
thereby altering its color,
it actually makes the hair much more porous than before.
 The  process of bleaching
can strip the moisture from your hair.
This can inevitably affect the moisture level of your hair,
causing it to become dry and damaged.

Want to know what's my secret of
having silky smooth hair after coloring and bleaching?

My FULL Hair Transformation
STARTS now!

THE PROCESS

My full hair transformation begins with
 Redken's Clean Maniac Pre-art Treatment (RM80)
a powerful cleanser that removes grime from hair,
repairs damaged hair cuticles and protects my hair before coloration.
After leaving it in for ten minutes,
Redken's Clean Maniac Hair Cleansing Cream is applied
to remove product build-up, deep cleansing and prep it to better absorb future treatments.
The cleansing cream is left on for ten minutes before it's rinsed off.

My hairstylist Director Janice chose Dark red colour  (RM240-360) for me.
She said this colour will still look pretty when fade.
So why not I give it a try!
Red tones make one look younger and more energetic.

My Coloring process start with Redken pH-Bonder.
Director Janice prepares color mixture
with Redken pH-Bonder.

Why you need pH-Bonder?

What is pH-Bonder?
=> A unique synergistic system that helps protect bonds and
reduce breakage during technical services
(such as bleach and haircolor).

It also helps to balances my hair's natural pH,
my hair looks healthy thanks to Redken pH Bonder.

Dearies,
do check out with your hairstylist to add pH-Bonder in your hair color mixture
when you color your hair.

After coloring and bleaching, Director Janice tone pre-lightened highlights with
Redken City Beats - Midtown Magenta.

Then I was treated
with 3-step Strength & Cuticles Repair Treatment (RM210-270)
to allow nutrients penetrate deep into the hair.

The end result after the treatment really made a difference!
Can't believe my hair was silky smooth after that,
but the effect would only last for 1-2 months
 before another treatment.

My hair turns so silky smooth!
I'm amazed!

I found out that
this colour looks a little purple in some angle and lighting.

Thank you Director Janice for styling my hair
Not forgetting their friendly and helpful staffs,
Chloe and Lile.

If you ever wondered what hair care products I am using to keep
my colored long hair healthy after bleaching,
there you go.

Mystery solved.
I am using products from Redken - The Color Extend Magnetics.

When you wash color-treated hair,
be sure to use a color-protecting shampoo.
Using a good shampoo will help your color last longer and
help maintain the health of your processed hair.

Avoid Sulfates on Color-Treated Hair.
Sulfates can strip color from hair
so look for a sulfate-free shampoo
(like Redken Color Extend Magnetics Shampoo)
Sulfates contain salt, which strip away moisture, and moisture loss is
one of the main causes of color fading.

This Redken Color Extend Magnetics shampoo is a
sulfate free shampoo that lather.
I was ecstatic because most sulfate free shampoos do not lather up like regular shampoo
and I always wonder if my hair is getting clean.
-_-:
If you have color-treated hair,
 you may try this out!

Be sure to condition your color-treated hair
every time with a color-protecting conditioner.
Conditioned hair will help
your color look shinier and more even.

REDKEN COLOR EXTEND MAGNETICS
MEGAMASK

A two in one hair mask which is both a treatment + care extender
 designed specifically for color-treated hair.

Restorative and moisturizing products are good choices,
as those are specifically for color-treated hair.

P.S:
Be gentle with bleached hair as you style and brush it,
and turn off the hair dryer as soon as your hair feels dry.

With proper care and a little creativity,
you can keep your color-treated hair
 looking shiny and vibrant.

Thank you again
Hair Quarters and Redken ♥
